Our Story

House of Boro & Bambi started with a simple, slightly annoying realisation: almost everything sold for cats was actually designed for dogs, shrunk down, and given a new label.

Food bowls are the clearest example. Deep bowls sitting flat on the floor force cats to hunch their necks through every meal, while the bowl walls rub against their whiskers — one of the most sensitive parts of a cat's body — with every single bite. Cats put up with it, because they have no choice. We decided they shouldn't have to.

Boro and Bambi are the cats behind the brand — our in-house product testers, quality inspectors, and the reason any of this exists.

Every product we make starts from one question: what does a cat actually need? Not what's cheapest to manufacture, not what already exists for dogs — what does feline anatomy and behaviour actually call for. Our first answer is the Boro Bowl: an elevated, whisker-friendly ceramic bowl that lets cats eat in a natural posture with their whiskers completely free.
